Comic Picks of the Week - 24th January 2018

It’s been a while since we did one of ‘comic picks of the week’ posts.

First up - thanks for the messages asking for them to come back. With the requests for these to become a feature again we figured it would be rude not to.

With January nearly over this week sees a nice mix of ‘in demand’ books - and variants take the majority of our selections.

So for the first time in 2018 we make our ‘Comic Picks of the Week’

This Mahnke variant is already being snapped up online in advance. Featuring several characters on the cover this is one to be looking out for!

Last week one of the hot books was the regular Avengers #676 Cover with the character Voyager making an appearance.

This week the heat will continue but we are calling the Ribic variant as the one to grab.

Let’s face it - Bill Sienkiewicz just keeps creating winners - and this one seems set to continue the trend. A variant cover - and a #1 would suggest this will be a hit.

You know at the start we said this was a variant week - we weren’t lying. Want to know what always looks good? A Del Otto cover that’s what!! Expect people to start hunting this one down come Wednesday. Available for cover price this is an easy pick up.

Thanos #15

Last up we have a regular cover in our picks. The Thanos series has been in demand since the first appearance of Cosmic Ghost Rider back in issue #13.

Issue #15 has already sold out on various online sources ahead of Wednesday’s release and secondary market demand is set to be high if copies sell out quickly.
