Last week we took a break from comic predictions due to time constraints but it was another week very much dominated by the Neal Adams variants with a bit of Wynonna Earp thrown into the mix!
This week we are back and have a nice selection of books to aim for - including one that you may want to grab before they all vanish!!
So - without further ado here are the 'Comic Picks of the Week'
Avengers Standoff! Assault on Pleasant Hill Party Variant
Early indications are showing this is 'the' book to get this week.
Despite there being a selection of covers to choose from this number from Jay Fosgitt is the one sold out at various online suppliers and that is gathering the most attention.
With its Gwenpool focused cover don't sleep on this one - if you see it at cover pick it up!
Copy's can be pre-ordered on the link below -
Avengers Standoff! Assault on Pleasant Hill - Party Variant
The Walking Dead #152
The Walking Dead continues to be hot property in both comic books and on TV. The countdown to Negan showing up on the TV show is now officially on - it's literally a matter of time before issue #100 takes yet another bump in price.
Back to the comics and we've mentioned it time and time again - you never know what might happen or who might show up in each issue - grab a few copies but at the same time even if nothing 'key' happens you have a super book to read.
This weeks book is simply titled 'United in Fear'
Grab this one below -
The Walking Dead #152
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1 (Action Figure Variant)
The Power Rangers have become hot property in the comic book world - admittedly it's hard to say how long the demand will last but for now everyone wants a piece of them!
Our cover of choice the issue #1 is the action figure variant - much like the Star Wars figure variants of you collect the series of these and line them up they will look immense!! Expect this one to appeal to younger fans and those with nostalgic memories of the original series.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1 (Action Figure Variant)
All in all another good week - most certainly don't miss the Avengers Stand Off - that will be a book to keep an eye out for - no doubt!
Until next time - Happy Comic Book hunting.
Its the middle of the month - and we finally get a stellar choice of comic picks!
It's been REALLY difficult trying to narrow the picks down this week - so much so that we are doing a top three with a couple of bonus choices tagged onto the end. We get a great mix of books for both reading and for speculating this time round so without further ado - here we go with our 'Picks of the Week'
Kicking us off this week comes what has now become our favourite 451 title - Six. This storyline is immense - honestly - if you haven't already read it check it out now!
We can honestly see this being turned into a TV show or movie it's that good. Fingers crossed down the line this is picked up as it reads perfectly.
In this issue we see what Angel, Stonewall and Blink have been up to since faking their deaths during the early days of the Iraq war.
Wonder Woman #49 Neil Adams Variant
It was a toss up between this and the Harley Quinn variant for the Neil Adams pick this week - and it was decided to go with this one on 2 points.
1) It's a glorious cover
2) Its print run is likely to be a little less than that of the aforementioned Harley book.
This might be a tricky find - expect this to be one of the hot books of the week!
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #0 - 2nd Print Cover
A few weeks back the Power Rangers Comic series hit stores - and gave Boom! Studios a massive hit.
As the 2nd print gets released - this time adorning Rita Repulsa on the cover - expect this to be another 'hot book'
Sales on this are already 3-4 times cover price - whether that lasts remains to be seen - but for now it's a cover that people want. If you see it on the shelves grab a copy!
So - as promised as its such a good week here are a couple of extra covers to keep an eye out for......
Harley Quinn #25 - Neil Adams Variant
We had an Adams pick earlier - and his work features again here - this time in the form of ever popular character Harley Quinn.
This will vanish - so again if you see it - grab a copy!
Imperium #13 CGC Variant
This nearly didn't make the picks - but then we thought back to the Faith #1 variant from a few weeks back - and figured we'd mark this as an outside bet.
Cool take on the CGC graded comic look - and perhaps one to sit on for down the line!
Dusu Path of the Ancient #1
Remember Niobe from a few months back? Well Stranger comics are back again - this time in the form of Dusu. Expect a low print run but a book that is in demand!!
So there we go - picks done for another week! Plenty to keep us occupied! It's nice to be spoilt for choice eh? ;)
Happy comic book hunting everyone!
Last week ended up being pretty decent with a stellar selection of variant covers to choose from coupled with some really good reads.
The Neil Adams variant of Detective Comics #49 became the book that everyone wanted - and this week despite it being somewhat quieter on the 'must gets' front we still give you a nice selection to choose from - including another variant pick from the aforementioned Adams.
So here we go once again with our 'Comic Picks of the Week'
Batman #49 - Neil Adams Variant
We mentioned in our opening section that last week the stand out book was the Neil Adams Variant of Detective Comics #49.
Moving into another week and once again Adams has done the business with a book that will vanish in equally quick time. These Adams variant covers are proving remarkably popular so don't miss these if you get the chance to pick them up at cover.
According to the synopsis for this book we are told to watch as the fate of Bruce Wayne and Batman is decided once and for all.

Batman #49 Neil Adams Variant
Next up this week comes a title from Overground comics in the form of Tinker.
Amy Park is an Asian-American teenager obsessed with superheroes, but she is too young to officially register as one. That doesn't stop Amy from using her talent to replicate any technology that she observes to build her own crime fighting arsenal and in the process reveal a secret about Zero technologies.
This sounds like a great title and one worth checking out this week without a doubt!

Last up in this weeks picks comes the book we have been championing since issue #1 - Sunflower.
This series has been fantastic throughout and in this issue CJs relentless pursuit of her daughter Sunflower continues knowing full well that all roads lead to the nightmare they call Rush Bridge.
451 media have a real gem of a title here - if your reading about it for the first time here and can find early issues we recommend this series!

Until next time - Happy Comic Book Hunting.
Undoubtably a comic book to pick up if you see it on shelves at the moment is Faith #1 - the latest smash hit from Valiant.
This book has already had its first and second printings released and is now going for a third printing - demand is that great!
This book is selling well above cover on the secondary market and that should only increase the more popular this series gets!
Keep an eye out in stores for copies at cover price - before they are gone forvever!
January has been and gone and the first week of February throws up a great selection of books to choose from - this week in particular gives us a great selection of variant covers that should be on the top of everyone's list.
So - without further ado here are this weeks comic picks.....
Scarlet Witch #3 - Siya Oum Variant Cover
Kicking off the picks this week comes a Marvel variant that will be sure to vanish quickly - The Siya Oum Scarlet Witch #3 variant cover.
In this book a magical curse has befallen the Irish country and only the Scarlet Witch has the cure.
Expect this one to do very well in price wise in the future - the demand will no doubt outdo the supply on this.
Batman Europa #4 - Jock Variant Cover
Next up comes another variant - this time from DC in the shape of Batman Europa #4 - Jock Variant.
This is a stunning cover - potentially the best looking of the week - but much like our previous pick expect this to vanish super quick!
In this issue as they reel from the effects of the colossus virus, Batman and the Joker make their final stand in the ruins of Rome's coliseum.
Captain Marvel #2 - Phil Jimenez Variant
Up next? Yup - you guessed it - another variant. This time in the shape of a Phil Jimenez Captain Marvel special!
This 1:25 variant will be another popular book to hunt down.
In this issue Carol Danvers (AKA Captain Marvel) struggles to find her footing on the new Alpha Flight Space Station.
So there you go - 3 picks - all harder to track down variants...... Want some regular picks? Not a problem - look no further than these two.
The Walking Dead #151
The Walking Dead hit the milestone issue of 150 and now in issue 151 a new arc begins.
A great book - and a must read. You never know who's going to pop up as a first apperance or when something major may take place.
451 Media's paranormal hit reaches issue #3 - and this week Scrooge and the Humbuggers investigate a gang of phantom pickpockets.
A fun read and it's not too late to try and track down issues 1 and 2 on this book.
Lots to keep you occupied on the comic hunt for the week! Until next time - Enjoy!!
