Comic Picks of the Week - 10th February

2/8/2016

Last week ended up being pretty decent with a stellar selection of variant covers to choose from coupled with some really good reads.

The Neil Adams variant of Detective Comics #49 became the book that everyone wanted - and this week despite it being somewhat quieter on the 'must gets' front we still give you a nice selection to choose from - including another variant pick from the aforementioned Adams.

So here we go once again with our 'Comic Picks of the Week'

Batman #49 - Neil Adams Variant

We mentioned in our opening section that last week the stand out book was the Neil Adams Variant of Detective Comics #49.

Moving into another week and once again Adams has done the business with a book that will vanish in equally quick time. These Adams variant covers are proving remarkably popular so don't miss these if you get the chance to pick them up at cover.

According to the synopsis for this book we are told to watch as the fate of Bruce Wayne and Batman is decided once and for all.

Tinker #1

Next up this week comes a title from Overground comics in the form of Tinker.

Amy Park is an Asian-American teenager obsessed with superheroes, but she is too young to officially register as one. That doesn't stop Amy from using her talent to replicate any technology that she observes to build her own crime fighting arsenal and in the process reveal a secret about Zero technologies.

This sounds like a great title and one worth checking out this week without a doubt!

Sunflower #4

Last up in this weeks picks comes the book we have been championing since issue #1 - Sunflower.

This series has been fantastic throughout and in this issue CJs relentless pursuit of her daughter Sunflower continues knowing full well that all roads lead to the nightmare they call Rush Bridge.

451 media have a real gem of a title here - if your reading about it for the first time here and can find early issues we recommend this series!
