It was a slow week for picks last week of comics to choose from - however for releases on 18th November its business as normal as we are once again spoilt for choice. As always we pick the best of the bunch whether it be for reading or speculation purposes. So without further ado here are this weeks 'Comic Picks of the Week'. Six #1451 Media are back after a week off with their latest release - this time in the form of 'Six'. With Sunflower, Self Storage and Exmortis all being excellent reads and huge hits there is no reason why this won't follow the same path. When the wife of a former marine finds herself a target of a vicious Mexican cartel she ends up turning to her husbands old squad for help. Sergeant James McQuade and five former members of the Five-One Sand Scorpions find themselves outnumbered and outgunned against the most lethal and unpredictable enemy they ever went head to head with. It was someone else's war but it was their fight. Just the way they like it. Expect hit 4 out of 4 - as 451 continue to be the hot comic company of the moment. There are 2 covers to choose from - grab these below - Six #1 (Cover A Chater) Six #1 (Cover B Antonio) Star Wars - Vader Down #1Its no secret that we love the Star Wars Action Figure variants - so imagine our delight when it was announced that for Vader Down one of the variant covers would be in the style of an action figure checklist. Add this to the others whilst you can get it as we imagine this will be a popular cover! The story is set with Darth Vader accidentally finding himself facing off against the Rebel Fleet on his own. Grab this one below - Star Wars - Vader Down #1 Huck #1The third pick of the week comes in the form of latest Image title 'Huck'. In a quiet seaside town Huck uses his special gifts to do a good deed each day. His neighbours return the favour by keeping his abilities a secret - but when a newcomer alerts the media a firestorm erupts sending Huck on an adventure that will change everything. We could be wrong but this book screams movie or tv potential. As a #1 it's worth picking up - especially if this series becomes hot! Huck #1 (Cover A) Huck #1 (Cover B) So there we go - another weeks selections. Be sure to keep an eye on the hip-hop variants and of course the action figure variants too - they are always worth a look! All in all a stellar week of comics to choose from. Until next time - Happy Comic Book Hunting!
