Christmas is here - and generally speaking that means the number of books to choose from slows down somewhat however this week still sees some titles well worth picking up for both reading and speculating purposes. Self Storage #3What better way to kick off the picks of the week with the fantastic 451 Media Group title 'Self Storage'. Issue number 3 is here and this continues to be a must read book. Chris must decide what to do regarding the mounting evidence that he cannot contain the bounty he blindly purchased. The content of the unit, a zombie girl of unknown origin named Jessica, has made it quite clear how much she enjoys the taste of human flesh. Chris leaves two fellow storage warriors in charge, as he follows the clues to a strange mansion on the other side of town. Let's just say the temporary caretakers of 83 pick the wrong time for a friendly game of paintball. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. 451 really do have a fantastic title on their hands here - and these books aren't on the shelves for long. With a rumoured TV show in the works it seems that this is a title which has a fantastic future ahead of it. The uptown Hip Hop world collides with the downtown Manhattan art world in this issue which introduces Hip Hop luminaries like The Beastie Boys, Doug E Fresh, Ice T and KRS-One into the ever expanding world of Rap music in 1981. If you haven't been following this series we encourage you to do so - its a great read and there is something about the feel of this book that is just right! Titan Comics have taken on the wacky world of the TV series and put it into comic form and the result of this given its pre-sales seems to be a surefire hit. Comic book forums are talking about this book - and it would seem this will be sold out in double quick time. In this first issue, the intrepid hero-in-the-making Yugo and his friends stumble across a mysterious amusement park. While the band explore, it seems that one of their number has caught the eye of the secretive and lonely Shak Shaka!
